World over, Vehicular emission is considered to be a major contributor to the air pollution and depletion of the ozone layer. As a result, stricter emission guidelines such as European Emission Standards (popularly known as Euro standards) have been introduced to ensure lesser polluting but at the same time higher efficiency vehicles.
Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly Delhi College of Engineering, is organizing a seminar on “Modeling Techniques in Engine Calibration for Euro-IV and beyond” to provide in-depth information on Engine Management System and Development of calibration process to meet strict emission legislation process and thus developing automobiles which are more eco-friendly in nature.
The seminar is being held on January 8-9, 2010 at DTU campus in association with Harit Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. It will be inaugurated by Prof. P.B. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, DTU.
Highlighting the importance of the seminar, Prof. Sharma said, “We must focus on Green mobility to assume a green future for us and coming generations. The seminar shall create the necessary urge and awareness in this regard.”
